Sturdy large plates

These were the kinds of plates I wished I had at potlucks growing up. They are very sturdy and ten inches across instead of the 9-inch ones I'm used to. I like how much food they will hold.

Thick and sturdy

These plates are thick and sturdy. Heavy foods did need two plates stacked together but that's about typical for most plates like these. No issues with leaks from liquids either.

good as the non-eco ones

it's a good quality set for being eco-friendly based. it works perfectly fine in the microwave as well as on its own without reheating purposes. i had one plate split on the edge but it was a one time thing within the set. might have been hefty food or an uneven weight limit issue (I had put a slice of lasagna on it). other than that, these plates are very useful and do the job as well as all others--- ones that are not eco-conscious---

exactly as advertised and well made

Great plates for family dinners with kids or even picnics. They are paper with no coating so they can't get too wet without some problems. All in all I would definitely get these again for a barbecue or even kids plates.

Nice paper plate

I must say, they're pretty impressive! They're super sturdy and can handle a good amount of food without buckling under pressure. However, I noticed that if you load them up with a dish swimming in liquid, they tend to get a bit soft around the edges. Be gentle with those heavy utensils too, as they can scrape off the surface. But all in all, they're a solid choice for disposable plates that you can feel good about using.

Plenty of plates

Could have been a bit thicker but over all plenty of plates for the $$

Great Plates!

These plates are really great. They hold up better than the Walmart Great Value plates that I get. The price point is a little steep for the count plates, so that is something to be considered.

Environmentally better

Very sturdy. A bit more expensive than standard ones, but I'm sure the price will come down as demand goes up.

Hold up nice, less expensive than "C" brand and hold up just as well.

Very good

These plates are great. They are sturdy and durable. They are microwaveable and they don't bend or melt. They are leakproof and hold a good amount of food. I'd get these again.

Sturdy plates

Nice heavy duty sturdy plates. Good size plates that are also microwaveable and not flimsy like other paper plates or the cheap Styrofoam ones.

Sturdy

These are sturdy and check off the environmental friendly boxes. Usable for wet items but some will soak into the plate. But the plate can handle wet for short term use which is what a paper plate is for.

Heavy weight plates

Perfect size and thickness. No need to use more that one or a paper plate holder. They have a nice clean feel to them and I love that they are biodegradable

Sturdy

Good quality and sturdy. True to size. Microwave safe. We used some for steak, other for cooked meals that had liquid and we hd no problems with the plates either occasion. Best of all, eco friendly.

A good combination of sturdiness, lightweight, and low cost.

We have used a few of these and found them to work well for disposable plates. It's nice to not have plastic stuff to throw away. These have proven to be strong enough to use once without issues and they seem to handle juicy foods without problems.

Sturdy and holds up well

I love theses disposable plates. They are priced well, made from natural resources, and sturdy as all get out.My husband is quite picky about using disposable plates, but says not a word of complaint about using this plate. Last evening I piled their plates high with nachos with all the topping (lettuce, salsa, sour cream etc). Held up beautifully!

I really love these biodegradable plates, they are a good size, very thick and sturdy and also environmentally friendly. Great for parties or just having around the house.

Pricy but good quality

I've tried many of these types of plates that are environmentally friendly and usually they are subpar. Either they are weak and get bendy or they are so outrageously priced that it's not worth it. These strike a good balance. They are large, dinner-size plates and don't absorb so much moisture that they fall apart. They're not lined at all, which ensures they are biodegradable and compostable. I recommend.

Dozens of plates for cheap

These disposable plates feel sturdy and a lot come in the bag. They microwave fine and feel good. The sheer number will last some time. Recommended for casual parties and dining alone for a fast cleanup. The bag did have a smaller tear but that is no big deal since they all went into a cabinet for future use.

Strong enough for Spaghetti

These plates are great! I wasn't quite sure what I was getting with the description, Biodegradable Sugarcane Fiber. But I am impressed. These are large enough that everything will fit on 1 plate. I have had paper plates that you need 2 for your dinner. They are also very strong. They don't leak and you can cut on them without going thru the plate. Best of all, they are paper, not styrofoam. I would get these again for any occasion.

Nice paper plates

These plates do the job and have a nice sturdy feel. You could load up the plate and feel secure that the food isn't going to fall off. Great for many occasions where you need to dispose of your plates easier. They don't have a film so could be prone to liquids seeping through but I also don't feel like I am ingesting chemicals either. For about .17 a plate it's a good deal and I highly recommend.

Strong plates

These are good plates that check all the boxes they're biodegradable, compostable, sustainable, microwaveable, and liquid resistant. I ate a juicy hamburger patty (no bun), topped with cheese, tomato, onion, & salsa, plus a bratwurst sausage with sauerkraut and mustard. There was plenty of juice/liquid and the plate held up well. Sure, it wasn't as resistant as a wax-coated plate, but still did well, better than similar type plates from a major brand.

Pretty good

These are definitely better than the paper plates you'd buy at the grocery store. They're eco-friendly, thick and durable despite looking like they won't hold much these left me pleasantly surprised at dinner time. They didn't get soft or soggy like I assumed which was another plus. The only real con is I wish they were divided but that's a personal preference. Overall a great buy and value for the price especially if you're trying to be more environmentally friendly!

Great paper plates

I ordered the Goodluck Paper Plates - Disposable 10" Plate, 150-Pack for our second home. When we are at our vacation home we don't like to spend a lot of time cleaning. We use paper plates for most meals. When I saw the biodegradable plates I knew I had to have them. Using these plates doesn't make me feel wasteful like other brands.I like sturdy plates that do not leak. These paper plates are just that. They are thick, do not leak and hold an ample amount of food. When I cut with a knife on the plate I do not cut though the plate.I am very happy with these plates and definitely recommend them.

Excellent

Goodluck Paper Plates - Disposable 10" Plate, 150-Pack, Biodegradable Sugarcane Fiber Dinner Plates - Heavy Duty Dinnerware for Hot Food - Microwave & Freezer Safe, Stackable DinnerwareThese plates can hold up very well to a stack of food and they are the perfect size. I am very pleased with how well they perform. Even fairly wet meals hold up very well. They are medium weight, neither the thickest nor sturdiest out there but it's more than good enough. I used this for a large get-together and nobody had any issues with these. The sugarcane fiber seems to be a viable alternative to the standard fare disposables out there, so that's a nice bonus.

strong plates

Never knew I would say I have a favorite paper plate but I do now.Ordered more because we like these so much better than any have been using before.I like to have some on hand for busy times around here. These are so straong and have a nice lip to them that makes them easy to carry and helps to keep food on the plate.Usually I have a few foods that I would never use a paper plate for because soaks up too much of the paper but so far have not had this issue with these plates.Have used them for simple snacks like pizza to messier ones like pasta dishes and fish.No complaints here and I now have a must have kind of paper plate to keep in my house.

Good, Sturdy Disposable Plates

One thing we use a lot is disposable plates. We use them for dinner when we want to avoid clean-up, we use them for special events when we need a lot of servings, and we use them for feeding our cat. We use such plates a lot. I chose these because they appear to be durable and well suited for every situation we would need them for and so far they have worked out well. These are not paper plates like the cheap store brand plates. These are much thicker and can stand up to some weight as well as to load. Where typical cheap plates require two or more to given them some strength, one is enough with these.I like that wet foods do not soak through these easily.I also like the fact that these are biodegradable. I normally don't think about that often, to be honest, but I do appreciate products that are made conscientiously. The should compost well. These are good plates that are better than the cheap ones that you can get at the grocery store. They're more expensive but they are made to hold up better and they are made to break down better too. My overall impression is very positive.
