We used it for a first communion party. Would also be nice for baptism, wedding or anniversary party that has gold theme designs. As for absorbancy, i think it did the job fairly well. Still find it stiffer than most plain napkins you buy that has no design but that's usually what you sacrifice when you are looking for any napkin that has a decorative design. I think it was a good value for your money as it gives you more than what you could get from party stores out there.

These napkins are nice and heavy, I use them as napkins and bathroom hand drying towels.

These napkins have a great, almost fabric-like, feel to them. They are absorbent too, not just decorative. The gold lines on them are not metallic; they are “gold” as in the color, not the precious metal. I actually like that feature since metallic foil decreases absorbency in that area. These napkins would look equally at home in a picnic basket as on a dinner table. I would definitely order them again.

These are nice napkins. I like the quality and thickness of these as well as the modest but trendy gold design on the bottom. They are a good size and would be perfect of a wedding and/or catered event... any situation where people are being served. However they could easily be for everyday use as well... especially if you're the type of person who likes to class it up!

The gold looks great on these...... it's not metallic or shiny, but it the shade does translate to "gold" well.They came nicely packed without any wrinkles. I used a couple at home as testers before I used them for a party. They are nicely absorbent and don't fall apart when using them. The 3-ply makes them look and feel high-end. I would order these again for another party.

These are thick, cloth-like, decorative dinner napkins that absorbant as well as being elegant looking. These were perfect for our banquet and were durable. Highly recommend these gold trimmed napkins for special occasions or picnics

I set these out for dinner tonight, my husband asked why we were getting fancy napkins. I will take that. They are fancy looking. These are actually pretty soft. I like that the trim is more dyed than embossed. For me, it makes the entire napkin seem usable. I keep a tray in my guest bathroom for this size of napkins for hand drying. These will fit nicely. Good for a special occasion or every day. White, but not a stark white, closer to an eggshell with gold trim.

I have another set of these napkins that are rose gold but with a different design. They are made by the same company, and they have the same description; therefore, I assume that they will be the same excellent napkins. They come packaged in cellophane first, then placed in a nice box to prevent any damage during shipping. I didn't take a picture because I haven't opened them yet because I'm not done with my other ones, and I didn't want to take the chance of wrinkling them by unwrapping them from the cellophane and then trying to wrap them back up. They look exactly like the picture. I love Rose Gold - it's such an elegant color and matches well in my bathroom. We use them regularly. I switched from hand towels to napkins some time ago - it just seems more sanitary especially for company. I have also expanded to my kitchen. There are so many pretty ones to choose from. Next, I will be putting out my Spring ones.
